Queen Charlotte track

On my first day in the bay I went mountain biking part way along the Queen Charlotte track with Philippa and Jeremy Beavon. We cycled from Anikwa towards Misletoe bay which was quite cool since when dad and I walked the track last year we caught the water taxi at Misletoe bay so that section of the track was new to me.

Had to have my wits about me since the tree roots made cycling fairly precarious in places, in fact Jeremy ended up diving over the edge of the track at one stage! Thankfully he wasn't badly injured, just a bit of a sore rib cage! ?!

Annette had us all in stitches after dinner telling us some of her family stories, what a laugh!
