Christchurch for Christmas

I caught the Transcenic railway down from Blenheim to Christchurch, which was definitely scenic; you go right down the east coast passed all the seal colonies and the salt works before turning inland through the Lewis pass, it's quite impressive in parts.

When I arrived in Christchurch I was ridiculously excited about Christmas and the pile of presents awaiting me didn't help either

I went over to Wim and Trudi's place and had a wee dram to help me sleep...
