New Arrival

I popped through to Edinburgh to ooh and ahh over Jette and Steve's new arrival, Klara Lemvig-Allan. I always get a wee shiver up my spine holding new borns, I tend to forget how tiny and vulnerable they are until I pick them up!

Klara is of course adorable and is being enjoyed by all of her Scottish/Danish family, including her wee/big brother Kasper, who is apparently being a very helpful little lad.

When I heard that Jette and Steve had decided to name her Klara it made me think of "Long distance Clara" the Lorry driver from Pigeon Street, does anybody else remember her?!

Jette assured me that they were not consciously naming their kids after British cartoon characters (Kasper does have obvious links to Casper the friendly ghost) however knowing Steve's sense of humour I do have my doubts! ;)
