Ben A'an

Went for a wee jaunt up a fairly decent hill after work today with a couple of my colleagues. As you can see, Ben A'an is situated in between loch Katrin and loch Achray and all 1491 feet of it is quite a challenge for a Monday evening so I was fairly impressed with our little party for

a) taking the initiative to venture out into the great outdoors

and

b) reaching the summit without any major mishaps!

After taking this photo we made a run for cover to avoid the rain which we could see closing in on us...this time we beat the weather and made it to the trees just in the nick of time!The views from the top made me proud to be Scottish and glad to be back home in the bonnie land.

I think the light in this photo gives the loch a mysterious celtic vibe...one for kiwi visitors I do think! :)
