CTCBI
I've been in touch with my future "colleagues" (ooh-exciting!) at the Community Treatment Centre for Brain Injury (CTCBI) about my new post and they mentioned that they may be able to help me with some of the costs involved in relocation which was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure if it will all come together but I was chuffed that they brought it up in the first place.
The centre is relatively new and seems to be fairly forward thinking in many respects so, as you can imagine, I'm really looking forward to getting on board...roll on July!

hey Ayley
great news about the job. i finally made it to your blog at long last...some interesting reading down the pages!
on a different topic, i'd be keen to hear your reflections on your faith experience is different for you in scotland cf nz
just a wee question for you!

cheers

Hey Glen,
Great to hear from you!
To answer your question, things are definitely different for me here in Scotland since I'm no longer surrounded by a community of people who share my beliefs and approach to faith, although my parents do try and support me as much as they can and I have a lot of close friends in and around the UK who encourage me to stay focussed on Christ, for which I am truly thankful (to coin a phrase!).
I'm hoping and praying that I'll meet some like-minded folk once I get a bit more settled down in Glasgow-already my friend Manuela has connected me with a close friend of her's from Barcelona who is also moving to Glasgow, which sounds promising and I do know a few other folk over there in the west coast that are on my wave length.
I must admit it has been quite a challenging time recently on the spiritual front but I trust that God will use my experiences to deepen my faith in the long run.
I hope you are well and enjoying life and God over there in Tauranga.
Love to you and yours!

Hi Claire,
Thanks for the tip! Yes it's true I am heading over to Glasgow and I'm really looking forward to it, I think I'll enjoy discovering it for myself.
When is it you actually come home?
Love Ayley
