Avoiding the Glasgow kiss!
As part of my induction at work I had to go on a two day Management of Agression course to learn how to dodge punches, prevent people from kicking me in the head (once down on the ground), break free from people who have pinned me against the wall (whilst attempting to strangle me) and escape from being pinned to the floor...hmm I was aware that Glasgow was a bit rougher round the edges compared to Edinburgh (darling) but I wasn't quite prepared for this!
The "romantic" in me couldn't quite understand why we were being told to use our hands as blockades to avoid the glasgow kiss (I mean surely it would depend on the individual concerned, right?!!)... however then I discovered that a "Glasgow kiss" is the local terminology for a good head butting...a yes, that I would like to avoid at all costs!
Jeepers, I certainly hope I don't have to put any of my "management of aggression" techniques into practice that's for sure!

Aylez you had enough practice beating us boys up as kid to know how to protect yourself.....As for the Glasgow Kiss thing your heads proberly thicker than there's.
