partypartyparty

Pronounced "par-tee-par-tee-par-tee".

I was certainly kept busy this weekend with a variety of social events, which was full on but great fun. On Friday night my friend Aden had a work do that he invited me along to and it was all very classy-darling! A Chardonnay and lobster kind of affair! On Saturday night I had FOUR birthdays to celebrate, one joint birthday meal for my friends Kirsty and Katie who are sisters and two 21st parties- I got home just before 3 am so was feeling a bit weary on Sunday!

Weather is starting to warm up a bit and so on Sunday one of my flatmates and I went for a wander through bottle lake forest, a cool, pine forest that I sometimes mountain biking through and eventually ended up at the beach. It was actually warm enough (just!) to kick back and eat Mr Whippy ice cream!

Went to church in the evening and really enjoyed the worship, I always find it so refreshing. It's quite a strange time of year for me at the moment since the student term is winding down but my college term has just started. I'm starting to think about the end of my time in New Zealand, which is both sad and exciting; I'm not sure what I'll be doing next but I'm looking forward to settling down in the Northern hemisphere for a wee while!
