EARTHQUAKE!

I was woken up at 6.30am this morning by a strange rumbling noise and everything shaking around me and I thought to myself what the hec is going on? In my half asleep state I went through the all the possible options...am I on a boat?...no, I'm definitely in my bedroom; am I dreaming?...no, I feel very much awake!...am I having a spiritual experience?...not this time (!); then it dawned on me that what I was experiencing was a real, live earthquake! I've certainly never experienced anything like it before! It was very exciting and as you can imagine, slightly unnerving. I must admit I was EXTREMELY relieved when it finally stopped; it must have lasted for 30 seconds or so.

Picked up my tickets for Oz today, very excited about that, I fly in 2 days! Also recieved Rach and Cal's wedding invite, mixed feelings about that, since I'm delighted they are tying the knot but gutted that I can't afford to go; oh well I guess I've got to count the cost of being so far away from home at some stage, I'll have to just bite the bullet and accept it...going to try and win $2500 on "therock" radio station tomorrow morning so I can fly to Scotland for the wedding; you can never completely give up hope, right?!!

Tonight at Navs this Kiwi guy called Dallas spoke and sang one of his own songs, then joined our small group, his contribution was excellent and I found his worship energising..I'm exhausted now though and I'm signing out, goodnight!
