Deep sleep in sleep-out

Hey! I recently discovered this site, which allows me to post wee updates of my time here in New Zealand for all you guys over in the Northern hemisphere, cool eh?...I hope you find it interesting!

At the moment I am writing this from my friend Trudi's house since I've been staying here for a few nights to get a wee bit of space. I'm really enjoying living in my new flat but sometimes it can get a bit hectic and so I've come to Trudi's for a bit of solace.

Last night I had dinner with my flatmates and Michael (Trudi's 20 year old son) and then a few of us went to see "The Italian Job" at the cinema which was quite entertaining; I thought it was the kind of film you didn't really need to think about, which was just what I needed; afterwards we played some pool with Michael's friends before going home and hitting the sack.

On Sunday I had a lovely relaxing lie in. Trudi and Wim have this cute wee sleep out, with an en suite toilet and shower and very comfy double bed which I am occupying at the moment.....ahhhh this is the life! Homemade waffles for brunch, hmmm delicious, thanks Trudi!

Anyway just about to pop back to my flat and check on my wee cat Maisy, hope you are all well, I would love to hear from you if you get a minute!
