Touring the South Island

After Christmas I did a wee bit of travelling around the South Island with mum and dad, which was great; getting accommodation wasn't easy but we managed to find somewhere outside Queenstown in a place called Cromwell and stayed there for the first night. We left really early the next morning because we had a flight to catch on a wee six seater plane into Milford Sounds; unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough to fly that day but we were fortunate enough to get to fly the next day (the flights hadn't been flying for 8 days before that). After Queenstown we went through Wanaka to Lake Tekapo and stayed in this wee room that had the most amazing view of the lake. After that we went to Christchurch and mum and dad stayed with Trudi and Wim in their wee sleep out, it was so nice to see mum and dad and they seemed to enjoy meeting everyone in Christchurch.
