Domestic Affairs

Moved into my new flat earlier on this month and spent the first wee while trying to create a good impression with my new flatmates; you know appear kind of domesticated and demure; but alas I got off to a bad start...on my first day (much to my horror!) I managed to flood the laundry room by leaving the plug in the sink that the washing machine empties into. The following day I pulled up what I thought was a stool to sit beside one of my "new" flatmates and landed on the floor, legs and arms flying in every direction since the "shelf" broke cleanly into three pieces...oops!
