Light or Darkness?

Life is a wee bit pressured at the moment since I'm trying to figure out what to do next year, whether to stay here for another year and finish off my course or head home and start settling back into the Celtic scene! Came across this interesting scripture during my pondering and pontificating;

"Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the words of his servant?
Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.
But now, all you who light fires and provide yourselves with flaming torches,
Go, walk in the light of your fires and in the torches you have set ablaze.
This is what you shall receive from my hand:
You will lie down in torment" Isaiah 50:10-11

I always thought we were meant to be the ones in the light but evidently not knowing and being in darkness as it were, can be a place where we can learn to trust ...the other option is to take control and do things in our own strength; something I often find myself doing when I get frustrated waiting . My challenge at the moment is to trust.
