A taste of Quebec culture

After a great night in Montreal eating authentic North American cuisine and sampling the Quebec wine in this lovely wee restaurant, Aden and I went to one of the cinema's to see a rather entertaining film about three blokes who were all turning 30 and afraid of commitment...sound familiar to anyone!?! It was set in Montreal City and had English subtitles but although I did French at school, the Quebec dialect was really unfamiliar to me. The French they speak here is definitely different from the French I'm vaguely familiar with!

Today we explored the streets of old town Montreal and discovered some fascinating wee places including this native Indian shop where we made friends with a few of the locals!

Then we did the very long drive back to Toronto. Although we only had a short time in Montreal it was definitely worth it and I'd love to go back there again one day if I ever get the opportunity!
